Welcome to New Castle Choirs

Events Calendar

Every voice counts. At New Castle Choirs, we are proud to have a department that includes students from both New Castle Middle Schol and New Castle High School.

Our total department enrollment is over 300 students - that breaks down into eight curricular choirs and five extra-curricular choirs.

Music is vital. We belive that music is a fundamental and essential part of a student's complete and well-rounded education.  Our goal is to inspire students to want to have music in their lives.  As educators, we are expected to produce well-rounded students.

The arts, specifically music, complete this circle of knowledge and guarantee the student continual spiritual growth and mental development.  In the classroom, we stress the importance of listening to, learning about, and performing different types of musical genres from cultures throughout the world.  We also teach students life-long lessons of hard work, teamwork, and determination.

We believe that if students receive and maintain a solid foundation in music, they will lead happy, succesful, and fulfilling lives.

Important Choir Announcements

Fall Break is October 9-13.  Be good, be nice, and stay safe!

High School Fall Concert is Thursday, October 19 at 7:00pm in Bundy.  Admission is $3.00 and doors open at 6:30pm.  You won't want to miss this show!

Mrs. Wick's Pies Delivery is Friday, November 3.

Stay up-to-date with the choir calendar.  Visit "Calendars."

Membership in the New Castle Choirs is open to all students enrolled at New Castle Middle School or New Castle High School and by a simple audition.  We are always looking for students who crave a creative outlet and want to be a part of a family of singers and musicians.  If you are interested in becoming a part of the NC Choirs, contact Mr. Doty or Mr. Hurst.

Parent Involvement is very important to the success of our organization!  We invite all parents of middle and high school singers to be a part of our Choral Boosters.  We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm.  We find ways to support our students and directors in many ways!  For information on the Choral Boosters, click here.

How can I get involved?
